Skin Superfood Salad

Benefits:

  • Cranberries are rich in bioflavonoids and natural vitamin C which stimulates the immune system. They prevent acne causing bacteria from entering the skin, so breakouts are less frequent and severe.

  • Kale is packed with vitamins A,B,C and K as well as antioxidants and phytonutrients, which promotes cell turnover, collagen production, prevents free-radical damage and detoxifies the skin.

  • Walnuts are rich in Omega-3 fats strengthening the skin, locking moisture and nutrients that keep the skin glowing and plump. These fats may also reduce skin inflammation and protecting the skin against harmful UV rays.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 200g of kale 

  • 1/2 juice of a lemon  

  • Pinch of salt 

  • 2 tablespoons of virgin olive oil

  • 1/2 a cup of walnuts 

  • 1/2 a cup of dried cranberries

How to make the salad:

  1. Wash the kale and take the stems off

  2. Massage the kale for at least 3 min with salt, olive oil and lemon juice 

  3. Chop the walnuts and cranberries with a food processor 

  4. Mix the walnuts and cranberries with the Kale
