Kat’s Anti aging Salad

Benefits

  • Watermelon is full of antioxidants such as lycopene, Vitamin A and C which help to reduce free radicals which can contribute to the cause of ageing. Due to its high water content it can keep skin supple from within.

  • Onions have more Vitamin C than an orange of the same size, which we need for collagen production and to boost our immune system.

  • Cucumbers are rich in vitamin A, another powerful antioxidant and anti-aging warrior.

  • Peppers are packed with Vitamin, Beta-carotene and Lycopene preventing photodamage and aging.

  • Avocados are high in inflammation-fighting fatty acids that promote smooth, supple skin. Rich in vitamins K, C, E, and A. B preventing the negative effects of aging.

Ingredients

Serves 4 people

  • 1 Avocado

  • 1/2 red pepper

  • 1 handful basil leaves

  • 1/4 red onion

  • 1/2 cucumber

  • 4 cups of cubed watermelon

Dressing:

  • 3-4 tablespoons of lime juice

  • 2 pinches of himalayan salt

  • 2 tablespoons of virgin olive oil

How to make the SALAD

Mix the dressing in a bowl. Arrange the cucumber, melone, pepper and onion on a plate and mix with the dressing. Put avocado on top.
